Manu Rishi Guptha
Manu’s journey into investing began not out of choice, but necessity—driven by the need to fund his education and support his family. What started as a personal challenge gradually became a passion, and ultimately, a lifelong profession.
Over the past two decades, he has managed investments for a close-knit group of friends and families, building a reputation grounded in trust, discipline, and long-term thinking.
He holds a firm view that any portfolio manager claiming to consistently exceed Warren Buffett’s benchmark of ~20% returns should, in theory, have already outperformed Buffett himself—a belief that reflects MRG Capital’s core philosophy: to protect and grow capital sustainably, without being swayed by the pressure to chase benchmarks or short-term gains.
